Bell Pepper Pasta

Requires a blender. Make a large batch of the sauce, it can sit in the fridge for some time. For assembly:

How

  1. Thinly slice the peppers and onions. Start them in a pan with olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste, cook until softened
  2. Add the garlic, sun dried tomatoes and chili flakes. Tomato paste directly onto the pan for browning, cook until the sharp tomato taste is gone
  3. Add heavy cream, simmer for another 5-10 minutes
  4. Blend
  5. Reheat the sauce in a pan, add butter. Boil pasta in a different pot
  6. Off the heat, add the pasta back into the sauce, as well as the cheese. Use pasta water to reach ideal consistency
